By Right of Conquest
About this book
Roger Harkshaw and his father, Reuben, want to go to Mexico and try to establish trade with the natives. So, they climb on the  merchant ship Swan. But, the ship wrecks and Roger is the only survived, in Pre-Columbian Mexico. At the beginning, the natives treat him as a God, but they soon decide that he would be the perfect sacrifice for their real gods. For that purpose Roger is sent to a more important city, where he is again worshiped as a God, at the same time waiting for the decision of the natives – whether he will remain their God, or he will be sacrificed to their gods. After a while, the Spanish noble and explorer Hernando Cortez arrives… What will happen? Will Roger survive? Will he escape and save himself, or will Cortez help him?
