Tödliche Verfolgung

About this book

A MESSAGE CARVED IN FLESH. A THRILLER THAT CUTS LIKE A KNIFE. When a murder victim turns up in a Baltimore motel room with investigator Dave O'Donnell's name carved into his chest, O'Donnell knows he's being called back to a case he thought was closed forever.  The victim was supposedly killed in action in Afghanistan years ago in a devastating explosion O'Donnell investigated and ruled an accident. But dead men don't bleed out in motel rooms. Reuniting with his former partner Frances Neagley, O'Donnell discovers that nothing about the Afghanistan incident was what it seemed.  As O'Donnell and Neagley dig deeper into a conspiracy that stretches from the battlefields of Afghanistan to the corridors of power in Washington D.C., they become targets themselves.  In a deadly game of cat and mouse, O'Donnell and Neagley must uncover who really died in Afghanistan, who's been hiding in plain sight, and why someone is willing to murder anyone searching for the truth. A relentless thriller that will appeal to fans of Lee Child, David Baldacci, Mark Greaney, and Brad Thor.
