Tengo el telegrama delante mientras escribo: parece que lo entregaron en Vere Street a las ocho de la mañana del 11 de mayo de 1897, y se recibió antes de la media hora en Holloway B.O. Y en esa zona deslucida me encontró puntualmente, sin haberme lavado pero ya trabajando, antes de que el día se calentara y mi ático se volviera insoportable.
