About this book

A FORGOTTEN MURDER. A SECRET SOMEONE WILL KILL TO PROTECT. In 1978, Ervin Porter was a rising young producer working on one of television’s most popular detective shows. Then he was found brutally murdered in an abandoned Los Angeles industrial yard. The case was never solved. Decades later, Porter’s daughter hires Dave O’Donnell, a former member of Jack Reacher’s Special Investigators, to discover the truth.  The police file is nearly empty, the surviving witnesses are growing old, and Hollywood has long since moved on. But someone remembers what happened. As Dave searches through the buried history of the show, he discovers people determined to stop his investigation. The closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous the past becomes. Perfect for fans of Lee Child, Michael Connelly, Robert Crais, and hard-boiled Hollywood mysteries.
