Alice joins the March Hare, Hatter, and Dormouse for a tea party stuck in time. She is trapped in circular riddles and rude conversation until she leaves in disgust and finds her way back to the hall.
The Queen's Garden and Croquet Ground
Alice enters the heart of Wonderland's royal court, characterized by arbitrary justice, a bizarre croquet game, and the terrifying yet hollow threats of the Queen of Hearts.

The Mock Turtle and the Gryphon perform a bizarre dance and quiz Alice on wordplay. They force her to recite mangled poetry before rushing her away to the trial of the Knave of Hearts.
The Trial of the Knave
The narrative culminates in a judicial farce where Alice disrupts the proceedings, challenges the authority of the court, and ultimately rejects the fantasy, leading to her awakening.
Who Stole the Tarts?
The King and Queen preside over the trial of the Knave for stealing tarts. The Hatter and the Cook give useless evidence, and Alice is called to the stand as she begins to grow larger again.
Alice’s Evidence
Alice's growing size disrupts the court. She exposes the nonsense of the King's evidence and rules, defies the Queen, and finally declares the court is just a pack of cards, triggering her awakening.
